§ 58-1. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Recreational vehicle (RV) means a vehicular-type unit primarily designed as a temporary dwelling unit for recreational, camping or travel use, which either has its own motive power or is mounted on or drawn by another vehicle. Recreational vehicles include but are not necessarily limited to all sizes of travel trailers, camping trailers, truck campers and motor homes.

    Recreational vehicle (RV) site means a plot of ground within a travel park intended for the utilization of a recreational vehicle, tent or other individual camping unit on a transient basis.

    Travel park means a parcel of land upon which one or more RV sites are located, established or maintained for occupancy by recreational vehicles for transient accommodations.
